Part 4: Planted in the House

Ephesians 2:19 LB –“You are a member of God’s very own family and YOU BELONG in God’s Household with every other Christian.”

Big Idea: “A planted life is a flourishing life”

Psalm 92:12- “The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon”

Psalm 92:13- “PLANTED in the house of the Lord, they will FLOURISH in the courts of our God.”

We’ve got to plant ourselves in God’s House where we can…

2. …up regularly with others

Hebrews 10:25 CEV- “Some people have given up the habit of meeting together for worship, but we must not do that. We should keep on encouraging each other, especially since you know that the day of Lord’s coming is getting closer.”

Matthew 18:20- “For where two or more gather together as my followers. I am there among them.”

3. … friends that make the difference when life gets real

4. … the gifts God has given us

Psalm 92:14- “They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green.”

1 Peter 2- “living stones”
