Invisible people

John 4: 3-12 (NLT)

1. We are not invisible to

  • What makes people visible to us apart from our immediate family and friends
  • Why do we work so hard to get visibility on social media?

2. God knows our needs.

  • When we come up thirsty in life, God or spiritual things are not usually at the top of our list.
  • When we are spiritually thirsty, our life will yell at us with pain or depression or emptiness.
  • What do you most often find yourself chasing to meet a need apart from God?

3. We are by God.

  • The good news. God knows everything about us.
  • The bad news. God knows everything about us.
  • The good news. God knows everything about us and he still loves us.

4. God wants to redirect our .

  • We are created to worship.
  • Whatever we love most is what we will worship.
  • Whatever we worship apart from God will eventually leave us thirsty.
  • God wants to redirect our worship to him.

5. Jesus wants to be our .

  • Everyone is looking for a Messiah, a Savior.
  • Today on the Fourth of July we celebrate freedom. Ultimate freedom comes from having a relationship with Jesus.
  • Jesus said, you shall know the truth and the truth will set you free!

If you are a Jesus follower but you are coming up thirsty in your soul, I want to encourage you to redirect your worship towards Jesus and away from whatever you have been worshiping.

If you are not a follower of Jesus, I want to encourage you to invite Jesus into your life as your Messiah, your Savior, and your God.
