Exodus 15 

God of Refreshing 

Exodus 15:27 ESV

“Then they came to Elim, where there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees, and they encamped there by the water.”

1st – God will lead us to places of refreshing 

God not only takes us through the wilderness he takes us to places of refreshing. 

Psalm 23 – “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.”

Psalm 23:1-3 ESV

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”

Hebrews 10:24-25 ESV

2nd – God leads us to places of refreshing to remind us of his purpose. 

Deuteronomy 1:32b-33 NLT

““….the Lord your God, who goes before you looking for the best places to camp, guiding you with a pillar of fire by night and a pillar of cloud by day.”

God not only leads us, He goes before us!! 

These Elim moments are reminders that God is in control and he cares about what you need!! 

3rd – When God brings you to a place of refreshing….use it!

Refreshing didn’t come in a moment it came when they tarried.
