How To Find Favor & Blessing

We often dismiss small changes because they don’t seem to matter, but over your lifetime, these choices determine the difference between who you are and who you could be.

Albert Einstein reportedly said, ”Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it. He who doesn’t, pays it.”

Galatians 6:9So let’s not get tired of doing what is good (helping people). At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

Our habits will make us or break us. We become what we repeatedly do.” Sean Covey

Our life is the sum total of all the small decisions that we make!

When you create tiny habits, you can change anything in your life. — Dr. B. Fogg

If you’re on a continuous search to be offended, you’ll always find what you’re looking for.

Romans 12:10 – …Honor one another above yourselves.

An attitude and mouth of MOCKERY can close doors for you that may never be reopened.

Why would someone MOCK others?

People who mock others have a dysfunctional social networking mechanism. Put simply, it is an Inferiority Complex.

Proverbs 22:10, 11 (10) Drive out the scoffer, and contention will go out, Even strife and dishonor will cease. (11) He who loves purity of heart And whose speech is gracious, the king is his friend.

Honor can open the door of favor and blessing with the King.

Mark 6:1-4 (1) Jesus left that part of the country and returned with his disciples to Nazareth, his hometown. (2) The next Sabbath he began teaching in the synagogue, and many who heard him were amazed. They asked, “Where did he get all this wisdom and the power to perform such miracles?” (3) Then they scoffed, “He’s just a carpenter, the son of Mary and the brother of James, Joseph, Judas, and Simon. And his sisters live right here among us.” They were deeply offended and refused to believe in him. (4) Then Jesus told them, “A prophet is honored everywhere except in his own hometown and among his relatives and his own family.”

Respect is earned. Honor is given.

Who Are We Called to Honor?

Honor God. (Prov 3:9)

Our parents. (Exodus 20:12)

Those in authority. (Romans 13:1-7)

Our pastors and spiritual leaders. (1 Tim 5:17)

Mark 6:4-5 – (4) Jesus said to them, “A prophet is not without honor except in his own town, among his relatives and in his own home.” (5) He could not do any miracles there, except lay his hands on a few sick people and heal them.

Dishonor locks the door to your miracle.

Romans 12:10 …Honor one another above yourselves.

Romans 12:10 ESV …Outdo one another in showing honor.
