Mark 5:21-43

These verses have an account within another account. It begins with Jairus asking Jesus to come and heal his daughter (5:21-24), is interrupted by a suffering woman (5:24-34), and ends with Jairus again. As we saw in chapter 4 and the first part of chapter 5, we see Jesus caring for those in need, and we see Him as the all-powerful God! In Mark 4 and 5, we see that Jesus has authority over nature and demons, diseases, and even death.
