When we surrender our lives to Christ one of the biggest changes in our lives is our worldview. This is the lens that we see the world through. This new world view will change our agenda from ours to Christ.

The kingdom agenda is the visible demonstration of the comprehensive rule of God over every area of Life.

John 18:33-37 (ESV)

1. God created man to demonstrate His greater agenda and to advance His Kingdom in history.

• God has a kingdom but only if He is KING
• Every Kingdom has the following:
  • Ruler
  • Ruled
  • Realm
  • Rules
  • When the rules are not being followed the kingdom is in conflict.

2. Worldliness leads to rebellion against the kingdom.

• God wants us in the world but doesn’t want the world in you.
• The worlds agenda strives to leave God out of our plans.
• The reason God’s kingdom is not fixing what’s wrong in our world is that the folks who want God to fix it are simultaneously worldly.

3. Reminder: If you belong to Christ, this world is not your home.

• The truth of God’s word is the absolute standard by which reality is measured.
• God does not leave his kingdom agenda to satisfy our need.
• God invites us to change from the world agenda to His agenda.

4. If you want your life and our world on target, then God must be recognized as the comprehensive authority of His kingdom.

• Unless God is free to call the shots, the transformation we need in our lives will not happen.
