Faith? It’s the reason.

John 20:30-31

The TWO THEMES of this Gospel are and life – the TWO are LINKED.

John 4:45-47

- 1. Faith, life giving saving faith, starts with REASON

John 4:45

John 20:6-9

Reason empowered by = life giving, saving Faith

- 2. Faith has to move beyond reason to TRUST

John 4:47-48

Real, life-giving faith COMES WHEN you LOVE – NOT the things you can GET.

John 4:49-50

LIFE GIVING, SAVING FAITH needs to be like gold.

1 Peter 1:7

- 3. Faith saves by it’s object and not its quality.

John 4:53

But it’s the of your faith, not the of your FAITH that saves you.
