God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

1 Samuel 17:46 NIV
This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down
and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the
Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will
know that there is a God in Israel.

1 Samuel 17:47 NIV
All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that
the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into
our hands.”

in Christ Jesus.

to meet him and said to him: “Run, tell that young man, ‘Jerusalem will be a

it. And I myself will be a wall of fire around it,’ declares the Lord, ‘and I will
be its glory within.’

Ephesians 1:17 NIV
I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious
Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you
may know him better.

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you
may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious
inheritance in his holy people,

Ephesians 1:19 -20 NIV
and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is the
same as the mighty strength he exerted when he raised Christ from the
dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly realms,

Ephesians 1:21 NIV
far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every
name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to
come.

And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be
head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of
