Five Reasons To Invite Someone To Church On Easter

Most people will come to church they are …and many people come to church if they are invited.

  1.   You never know what is going on in someone’s life. Right now may be the time to invite.

Acts 26:13–16 King Agrippa, while on the road at midday, I saw a light from heaven brighter than the sun, shining around me and those traveling with me. 14 We all fell to the ground, and I heard a voice speaking to me in Aramaic, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ 15 “I asked, ‘Who are you, Lord?’ “And the Lord replied, ‘I am Jesus, the one you are persecuting. 16 But get up and stand on your feet. For I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and a witness of what you have seen and will see of me.

Don’t say “no” somebody mind. Just .

  1.   Coming to church someone is so much easier than coming alone.

John 1:40–42 Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, was one of the two who heard John and followed him. 41 He first found his own brother Simon and told him, “We have found the Messiah”, (which is translated “the Christ”), 42 and he brought Simon to JesusWhen Jesus saw him, he said, “You are Simon, son of John. You will be called Cephas” (which is translated “Peter”).

John 6:8–10 One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, said to him, 9 “There’s a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish—but what are they for so many?” 10 Jesus said, “Have the people sit down.” There was plenty of grass in that place; so they sat down. The men numbered about five thousand.

  1.   to hear the Gospel.

Romans 10:13–15 For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.14 How, then, can they call on him they have not believed in? And how can they believe without hearing about him? And how can they hear without a preacher? 15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news.

  1.   needs to be fought for…and every Christian needs to fight for .

Luke 5:17–20 On one of those days while he was teaching…the Lord’s power to heal was in him. 18 Just then some men came, carrying on a stretcher a man who was paralyzed. They tried to bring him in and set him down before him. 19 Since they could not find a way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up on the roof and lowered him on the stretcher through the roof tiles into the middle of the crowd before Jesus. 20    Seeing their faith he said, “Friend, your sins are forgiven.”

  1.   We need to be reminded of just how much Jesus people.

Philemon 1:6  I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every good thing we have in Christ.

If the Gospel really is …why wouldn’t we to share it?
