“Now Is The Time: The Savior”

2 Corinthians 6:1-2
Sunday, March 21, 2021

Pastor Mike Bailey

Introduction

Paul, the author of Corinthians, was a man who understood the value in the gift of Jesus Christ which is the gift of Salvation. He was a man who lived his life in pursuit of righteousness before God. A persecutor of the church in the beginning of his life and thinking he was doing the work of God, Paul gave his life to what he believed was a religious mission given to him by God. But Paul was missing the point and the purpose of who God is and what God really wanted to do in his life. It was not until he met Jesus on the road to Damascus that Paul finally saw what real Salvation was. And with the same vigor that he had once persecuted the church, Paul now shared the truth and love of Jesus Christ, his Savior, with the world around him. In his letter to the Corinthians, Paul challenges us to not ignore or miss the potential of God working in our lives and to take hold of His promise to give us a new life in Him and a hope to navigate this world around us.

Philippians 2:6-8
