How do you think King Jehoash must have felt when Elisha died? Do you think King Jehoash questioned God’s promise of deliverance for the Israelites? Do you ever question God’s promises for your life? Joshua reminded the Israelites how God had kept every promise He made to them. Why is it so important that we remember what God has done for us? Why are we so prone to forget God’s faithfulness? Are you living life with an eye on eternity? Can you explain what that means? Who are people in your life whose legacy has impacted you? Please share. Paul links not living aimlessly with self-discipline so that his witness won’t be damaged. Why is it crucial that we keep both of these things in mind? * Close by thanking God for Jesus, who is proof that all of His promises are true.
