The Kingdom of God – Part 2
How do you understand the “already, but not yet” status of the Kingdom of God?
What do you think Pastor Steve means when he said, “…the best parts of you and life are the invisible ones.”
Respond to this statement:
“To be born-again, we must die to our self, to be re-conceived by the Spirit, and then born into the kingdom of God and subsequently formed into the image of Christ.”
“Having lots of money is not evil, but loving money and thinking it gives you status in the kingdom of God is soul obesity.” In your own words define “soul obesity.”
Respond to this quote:
“If Jesus had not come until 2019 in Severn MD as a middle school student at Old Mill, and his posse were arguing about who would be the greatest in his gang. Jesus would have likely called over a backward, pimple-faced, glasses-wearing, frizzy hair kid who ate alone at lunch and was often bullied, put his arm around them, and said, “unless you become like this as this outcast you cannot enter the kingdom of God.”
Do you live in the Kingdom of God this way? How?
