It Never Fails Part 4

As we continue to examine the scriptures to understand the connection between love and fruitfulness in that love never fails to bear fruit, we must ask a simple question:

Could it be possible that the greatest hindrance to a life of producing Godly fruit is living my life looking through the lens of ME?

Could it be that the lens in which I view life needs to change?

The 3 Parts of ME

1 Thessalonians 5:23 (NKJV)

“23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

I am a

I have a

I live in a

There are two we choose to live from. The Word of God separates them.

Hebrews 4:12, 2 Corinthians 10:4-5, Galatians 5:16-17

1. The throne of the .

Thoughts, feelings, emotions, appetites of the ruling me.

2. The throne of the spirit.

The Spirit of God through my spirit, the Word of God ruling the soul and putting your body in subjection.

The authority I submit to will be the lens that I look through and every decision will be influenced and filtered by that perspective.

Living a Life

John 12:23-26, Galatians 2:20

I am called to live a life. To die to myself and to follow Jesus.

Luke 9:23-25; Matt 16:24-26; Mark 8:34-37

The evidence and fruit of a life lived in towards others is not only what I have, not only what I know, but how I lay down my life in to Christ in order to communicate the good news to others.

Ephesians 5:2, John 15:13, 1 John 3:16
