1. Goodness Over Greed

Daniel was placed in a high position in service to King Darius.  In that position of power, he had opportunity to do whatever he wanted for good or evil but he chose the good & served with integrity.  When they examined his service to the king, he was found to be trustworthy, with no corruption or negligence in his duties.  We too, need to serve King Jesus with integrity.  Daniel 6:1-4, Hosea 12:7,  Proverbs 11:1, Proverbs 16:11, 1 Corinthians 15:58

2. Faith Over Fear

When Daniel faced the lion’s den, he could have just went with the crowd & allowed fear to direct his path but he chose to stand in faith & the Lord protected him.  Daniel 6:5-23, Proverbs 1:7
