IT’S TIME TO…

Align my back to God’s for my life.

Proverbs 29:18 (The Message) If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; But when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.

– Because I have a God-given .

Ephesians 2:10 (NIV) For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

– Because time is .

James 4:13-14 (NIV) Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.

HOW DO I ALIGN MY LIFE BACK TO GOD’S PURPOSE FOR MY LIFE?

1. Prioritize what’s most .

Romans 12:2 (TPT) Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will…

Philippians 3:7-8 (NIV) But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ.

2. Create for what’s most important.

Psalm 90:12 (LB) Teach us to number our days and recognize how few they are; help us to spend them as we should.

RULE OF 5

  • Pray
  • Read God’s Word
  • Love those closest to me
  • Make a difference in someone’s life
  • Take care of myself

– Make time for .

Matthew 11:29 (NIV) …learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

“Rest isn’t .  Rest is the condition of your .”

– Make time for life-giving .

Matthew 22:36–39 (NCV) “Teacher, which command in the law is the most important?” Jesus answered, “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and most important command. And the second command is like the first: ‘Love your neighbor as you love yourself.’

Hebrews 10:25 (TPT) This is not the time to pull away and neglect meeting together, as some have formed the habit of doing, because we need each other! In fact, we should come together even more frequently, eager to encourage and urge each other onward as we anticipate that day dawning.

Ecclesiastes 4:12 (NLT) A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.

Matthew 18:20 (TPT) For wherever two or three come together in honor of my name, I am right there with them!”

– Make time for eternal .

John 14:12 (The Message) The person who trusts me will not only do what I’m doing but even greater things, because I, on my way to the Father, am giving you the same work to do that I’ve been doing. You can count on it.

Mark 10:43,45 (TPT) If you want to be the greatest one, then live as one called to serve others… For even the Son of Man did not come expecting to be served by everyone, but to serve everyone,…

1 Timothy 6:17-19 (NIV) Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.

Romans 12:2 (TPT) …This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes.
