Big Thought:  Watch Your Walk

Colossians 4:5  “Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders, make the most of every opportunity.”

1. There’s Still Outsiders

We need to Watch Our Walk because there’s still people who haven’t heard about Jesus.  As He leads us to them, we must be faithful to share the Gospel message.

2 Peter 3:9, Luke 10:2

2. You Have Influence

We need to Watch Our Walk because we were created with influence.  God gave you the ability to make an impact on peoples lives.  Use your influence for good!

Proverbs 13:20, 1 Peter 3:1, Titus 2:7

3. You Get Familiar

We need to Watch Our Walk because familiarity breeds inattention.  While it’s good to build relationships & get to know each other, we have to be careful that we don’t get so familiar that we overlook sin & the need for Jesus in our lives.

Colossians 4:5, 1 Thessalonians 5:22
