The Family of God 
Galatians 2:7-16

 – The Family of God is to everyone v. 7-10

“When they saw that I had been entrusted with the gospel to the uncircumcised, just as Peter had been entrusted with the gospel to the circumcised (for he who worked through Peter for his apostolic ministry to the circumcised worked also through me for mine to the Gentiles).” v. 7-8

“Too often our church meetings discuss problems, but they fail to result in practical help for the needy world.” Warren Wiersbe

– The Family loves each other as v. 11-14

“But when I saw that their conduct was not in step with the truth of the gospel.” v. 14a

“To ‘eat with the gentiles’ meant to accept them, to put Jews and Gentiles on the same level as one family in Christ.” Warren Wiersbe

“Peter’s freedom was threatened by Peter’s fear.” Warren Wiersbe
What do you fear in loving people not like you?

“and the rest of the Jews acted hypocritically along with him…” v. 13a

– How do we become of the family?

“yet we know that person is not justified by works” v. 16a

“through faith in Jesus Christ… in order to be justified by faith in Christ…” v. 16b
