Group/Community Discussion Points:

*Open by reading Psalm 23

  1. How is Jesus like David? How is he better than David?
  2. In what ways has Jesus been a Good Shepherd in your life?
  3. Why doesn’t God take us out of the battles of life?
  4. Why do you think He chooses to prepare a table for us in the midst of the battle instead?
  5. Can you share of a time that you were facing a giant (or a battle) and God provided you with a “bounty” of provision? Please share.
  6. Is the devil really a lion? Who is the lion? Why is it so important that we don’t give the devil a seat at our table? What are some ways that we can keep ourselves from entertaining his lies and temptations?
  7. Have you personally trusted Christ to be your savior and shepherd? (If not, reach out to someone in this group today and let them talk to you about how to do so.)
  8. Are you daily “dining” with Jesus? How? What does that look like for you?

* Close by thanking God for giving us Jesus – the Good Shepherd.
