The Height of God’s Love

Should not perish but have everlasting life . . .

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)

Main Thing to Know:

choices have consequences

is eternal

Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. (Psalm 90:2)

is eternal

The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever (Isaiah 40:8)

is eternal

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in [your] hearts (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

1. Eternal in Hell

Hell is a place

At the end of the age, the angels will come forth, separate the wicked from among the just, and cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Matt 13:49-50)

Between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us (Luke 16:26)

And [the wicked] will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life. (Matt 25:46)

He who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light . . . (John 3:18-19)
