THE CHRIST LIFE (Part 3)
Colossians 3:1-4

The Christ Life is a: (1) Higher Life and a (2) Hidden Life. Today we are looking at
this life as an (3) Honored Life.

I. THE WHAT OF THE RAPTURE (1 Thessalonians 4:17)

8 Examples in Scripture where there was a sudden “snatching away.”

• 2 Kings 2:7-14
• Ezekiel 8:1-3
• Acts 1:9-11
• Acts 8:26-40
• 2 Corinthians 12:1-4
• Revelation 4:1
• Revelation 11:11-12

II. THE WHEN OF THE RAPTURE (Daniel 9:24-27)

• Partial Rapture – This view holds that only the “faithful” will be raptured at
  the beginning of the Tribulation and the others will be taken up during or at
  the end of the Tribulation.
• Post Tribulation Rapture – The Church will endure the entire seven-year
  Tribulation.
• Mid-Tribulation Rapture – The Church will go through the first 3 ½ years of
  the Tribulation.
• Pre-Tribulation Rapture – All believers from Pentecost until the Rapture will
  be caught up to be with the Lord.
