Mission Work Is Important to God

Last week, we talked about how to get involved in missions

• We begin with prayer
• Surrender to the Holy Spirit
• Determine to share God’s Word
• Pray for results
• Step out on faith
• Rejoice in what God is doing

God is

• He is in control of everything

• These were not ideal times

• What about everyone else?

• God used the death of Stephen and the persecution of the church to motivate His disciples to scatter.

God Wants the to Know About Jesus – vv. 19-20

• People from all these nations
• They are all brought to Jerusalem to hear the Gospel and get saved
• God allowed the death of Stephen to get them to scatter so others would hear the Gospel
• What will God have to do in your life to get you to move?
• We don’t have to go the end of the earth, we are there
• There are people everywhere – Matthew 28:19-20
• We must send missionaries

• We must go and send others where we –  Romans 10:13-15

• His –  Ecclesiastes 2:24
• His – Joshua 4:24  |  Deuteronomy 2:15
