Paul’s Prayer for the Future

1 Thessalonians 3:11

Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you.

1. Our Simple to God.

     – Paul seeks to be led of God.

2. Our Complete to God.

     – Paul wants his ministry to be fully approved; no shortcuts.

3. Our Personal with God.

     – Paul trusts God, as his Father, to do what is best.

4. Our Childlike in God.

     – Paul knows that what is best for himself is best for everyone involved.

5. Our Committed to God.

     – Paul understands that God’s direction will be in complete harmony with God’s eternal purpose of redemption.
