Memory Definition; the by which the mind stores and remembers information. (Dictionary.com)

John 10:10 (ESV); The Thief comes only to and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and have it abundantly.

We all have good memories and bad memories. Bad memories come from both the Devil as well as our own disobedience to God and His Word. The Devil is the source of hurt and pain. God is the source of and thereby and hope!

You cannot change, past memories. You should however seek the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to from your past both good and bad.

In the Old Testament the people of Israel both made good as well as bd decisions. In World War Two over 6 million Jews were killed in the Holocaust perpetrated by Hitler and others as the Thief (the Devil) tried to destroy God’s people.

This has been done going all the way back to the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve then Cain and Abel and throughout history around the world. People have been enslaved to other people as the Thief tries to destroy human beings because we are the only portion of God’s creation made in His image and likeness.

Sadly, and with horrific consequences children throughout the world have been subject to deprivation, starvation, abuse and abuse, throughout history as well because of the Thief and sinful adults. God will not leave this unpunished in the light of eternity.

Mark 9:42 (ESV); “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him if a great were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.

Humans are sinful by nature and therefore even the best of human systems fail.

All children do matter, including unborn children.

Biblical Response; we must use Biblical directives when we respond to tragedy.

Micah 6:8 (ESV); He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love and to walk with your God?

The Gospel is more powerful than anyone’s past and anyone who truly experiences it can be healed in their soul. Even the Devil – The Thief steal your soul.

2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV); Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

Being reconciled to God is step number one for personal healing and healing of communities and even potentially countries.

2 Corinthians 5:18-20 (ESV); All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to and gave us the of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the of reconciliation.

Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to .

We cannot be reconciled to one another if we are not first reconciled to God! The joy is that no matter where we are coming from in our past, we can be healed through Jesus of the pain from our past and set free!

John 8:36 (ESV); So, if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

We are called to be one in Christ!

Galatians 3:28 (ESV); There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

As followers of Christ and the Bible we are to be in this world as His salt and light to this world. However, our priorities are not for this world as we are no longer motivated by the things of this world.

John 18:36 (ESV); Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is from the world.”

Our “System/Kingdom,” IS and MUST BE different.

1 John 5:18,19 (ESV); We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him. We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

“It is truly; only when we are individually, reconciled to God, by grace through Jesus Christ, can we then begin to be reconciled to one another, as brothers and sisters as God’s children.” Rev. G.A. Clark

We have a starting point for reconciliation. Begin to be healed by being reconciled to God and then be a messenger of that same healing being available through God’s grace and mercy to any man, woman, boy or girl in the world!
