Law 1: The Law of : Your marriage relationship is to be prioritized above everyone and everything else except for your relationship with God.
Genesis 2:23-24
And Adam said, “This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.” Therefore, a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Law 2: The Law of : Marriage only works when we work at it by serving each other, according to God’s design.
Matthew 23:11–12 NIV
The greatest among you will be your servant. For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.
The Servant Rules: Using the Acronym “S.E.R.V.E.”
- what your spouse needs in spite of what you need, want, or understand.
- serving your spouse by serving with a good attitude.
- score keeping and do what you do with a spirit of grace and faith.
- protect the priority of your marriage and the time and energy to serve your spouse.
- to be blessed, and don’t get discouraged and give up.

- what you did to work at your relationship and to protect it early on.
- by acknowledging the truth, admitting you were wrong and adjusting your direction.
