Reply All: How Do I Understand The Times

August 2, 2020   /   CrossRoads Moss Bluff

These are the craziest and most unpredictable times most of us have lived through. This message will help us know how we are to pray as we ask God what we are to in the months ahead.

1 Chronicles 12:23-31 NIV “These are the numbers of the men armed for battle who came to David at Hebron to turn Saul’s kingdom over to him, as the Lord had said: from Judah, carrying shield and spear—6,800 armed for battle; from Simeon, warriors ready for battle—7,100; from Levi—4,600, including Jehoiada, leader of the family of Aaron, with 3,700 men, and Zadok, a brave young warrior, with 22 officers from his family; from Benjamin, Saul’s tribe—3,000, most of whom had remained loyal to Saul’s house until then; from Ephraim, brave warriors, famous in their own clans—20,800; from half the tribe of Manasseh, designated by name to come and make David king— 18,000;”

1 Chronicles 12:32 NIV “from Issachar, men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do—200 chiefs, with all their relatives under their command;”

“21 Days” Prayer Focuses:

  • Renewed Kingdom Ask God to help us discern what we need to be focusing on to have the greatest impact in these rapidly changing times.

Proverbs 2:6 NIV “For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.”

  • Strong CrossRoads Ask God to help us all reconnect and dive deep into life-giving relationships here at CrossRoads.

1 Corinthians 1:10 NIV “I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.”

  • God-honoring Ask God to give favor and provision to those candidates running in November who will govern in a God-honoring manner.

Romans 13:1 NIV “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.”
