Frequency: Hearing Through Seeing

Acts 2:15-18 NIV  These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning! No, this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel “‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. Even on my servants, both men and women. I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.

1 Kings 3:5 NIV  At Gibeon the Lord appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said, “Ask for whatever you want me to give you.”

1 Kings 3:9 NIV  So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?”

1 Kings 3:11 NIV  So God said to him, “Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice, 

1 Kings 3:12 NIV  I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be

1 Kings 3:15 NIVa  Then Solomon awoke—and he realized it had been a dream.

Job 33:14 NKJV  For God may speak in one way, or in another, Yet man does not perceive it.

Job 33:15 NKJV  In a dream, in a vision of the night, When deep sleep falls upon men,

Job 33:16 NKJV  Then He opens the ears of men, And seals their instruction.

Matthew 1:20 NIV  But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 

Matthew 2:13 NIV  When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. “Get up,” he said, “take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him.”

To hear God speaking through your dreams:

• Stop saying, “It was  a dream.”

• Know that not  dream is of God.

• Ask God to bless your rest and  to you as you sleep.

•  dreams down immediately.

• Get the if needed. (From Spirit then someone else with the gifting to help you if needed.)

• Understand that  is often involved.

•  the message  as the Spirit instructs.
