God’s desire is to gift us with His Spirit of Power, The Holy Spirit.

Luke 11:13 (TPT) “If imperfect parents know how to lovingly take care of their children and give them what they need, how much more will the perfect heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit’s fullness when his children ask him.”

Were you water baptized after you were saved? Describe what that experience was like. 

What made it special?

Start thinking. Create a thoughtful question.

All 4 Gospels (Mt. 3:11, Mark 1:8, Luke 3:16, John 1:33) tell us Jesus baptizes us in the Holy Spirit.  Why do you think that is significant? 

Start sharing. Create questions that create openness.

• How can we better understand the Holy Spirit’s importance for our lives, rather than treat Him as a vegetable, something we can pick and choose if we like it?

Start praying. Be bold, and pray with power.

• Do you feel the need for more of His Power, His boldness?  Ask for it.

Start doing. Create a step the group can commit to and live it out this week.

• Consider inviting the Holy Spirit to life in you if you haven’t.

• If you’ve invited the Spirit already, can you share how you’ve felt empowered.
