Eat the Frog” | Win the Day Series | Lowell McNaney, Senior Pastor

EATING THE FROG IS ABOUT:

1) Starting your day out right

2) Developing good habits

Luke 22:39 “Jesus went as usual to the Mount of Olives”

Hebrews 10:25 “Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing”

WE NEED TO OUR HABITS.

WE NEED TO the fig trees

Matthew 21:18-19 “Early in the morning, as He was on his way back to the city, He was hungry. Seeing a fig tree by the road, He went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then He said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” Immediately the tree withered”

WE NEED TO  and

Matt 5:29-30 “If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away”

WE NEED TO some habits.

WE NEED TO DEVELOP habits.

ONE KEY TO WINNING THE DAY IS WINNING THE PREVIOUS EVENING

  • “There was evening and there was morning—the first day”
  • “There was evening and there was morning—the second day”

Ephesians 4:26 “Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry”

“This is the day that the Lord has made—I will rejoice and be glad in it”

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end. They are new every morning—great is your faithfulness”

You need to your habits.

other habits.

In Summary…In order to win the day, we need to:

  • WE NEED to evaluate our habits.
  • WE NEED TO curse the barren fig trees.

  • WE NEED TO gouge and cut.
  • WE NEED TO switch some habits.
  • WE NEED TO DEVELOP lifestrengthening habits.
  • You need to stack your habits.
  • Hack other habits.
