James 2:17 – Faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Act 2:25 – I saw the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.

1 Corinthians 16:13 – Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.

#1 – Being a little .


Matthew 24:4 Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. 

Matthew 24:5 For many will come in my name…and will deceive many.

Matthew 24:11 …And many false prophets will appear and deceive many people.

Matthew 24:10 – At that time many will turn away from the faith…

1 John 4:1 (NLT) – Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world.

1 John 4:1 (MSG) – My dear friends, don’t believe everything you hear. Carefully weigh and examine what people tell you. Not everyone who talks about God comes from God. There are a lot of lying preachers loose in the world.


How much am I questioning what’s being thrown at me to believe?


Matthew 7:13-1413 Wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

#2 – Not .


Matthew 24:6 – You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.

2 Timothy 1:7For God did not give us a spirit of fear…

Daniel 4:3 – How great are his signs, how mighty his wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom; his dominion endures from generation to generation.

Exodus 15:18 – The Lord reigns for ever and ever.

Hebrews 12:1-2 –  Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles…fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.

1 Thessalonians 4:11-12 – …Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders…
