Genesis 1:26-28 NKJV – “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for dust you are, and to dust you shall return.”

Colossians 3:22-24 NKJV – Bondservants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

Romans 1:1 NKJV – Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God

diligence – steady, earnest, and energetic effort : devoted and painstaking work and application to accomplish an undertaking

Proverbs 12:24 NKJV – The hand of the diligent will rule, but the lazy man will be put to forced labor.

Proverbs 10:4 NKJV – He who has a slack hand becomes poor, but the hand of the diligent makes rich.

2 Peter 1:5-11 NKJV – But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins. Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Philippians 3:14 – I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Galatians 6:9 – And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
