Matthew 21:12-13 NIV
12 Jesus entered the temple courts and drove out all who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves. 13 “It is written,” he said to them, “‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are making it ‘a den of robbers.’ ”

1. Religion but Jesus .


Hebrews 4:16 NIV

16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

The promises of God:
● He is your strength
● He will never leave you
● He has plans to prosper you
● He hears your prayers
● He will fight for you
● He will give you peace
● He will fill you with the Holy Spirit

● He will always love you

2. Religion the broken but Jesus for the broken.

Matthew 21:14 NIV
The blind and the lame came to him at the temple, and he healed them.

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

John 8:4-5 NIV
said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?”

John 8:7, 9-11 NIV
7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.
9 At this, those who heard began to go away one at a time, the older ones first, until only Jesus was left, with the woman still standing there. 10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”
11 “No one, sir,” she said.
“Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Go now and leave
your life of sin.”

3. JESUS BRINGS , RELIGION BRINGS

Matthew 21:15 NIV
But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple courts, “Hosanna to the Son of David,” they were indignant.

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete

4.Religion says , Jesus Says

Luke 21:1-4 NIV
As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. 2 He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. 3 “Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others. 4 All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”
