Face To Face: No Pain No Gain

(Psalm 34:18, NIV) The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

(Isaiah 6:1-4, NIV) In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord, high and exalted, seated on a throne; and the train of his robe filled the temple. Above him were seraphim… And they were calling to one another: “Holy, holy, holy is the LORD Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke

  • When something is happening , God wants to reveal Himself .

(Isaiah 6:5, NIV) “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty.”

  • When we clearly, we clearly.
  • Condemnation for what we’ve done.
  • Conviction how we can change.

(Isaiah 6:6-8, NIV) Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar. With it he touched my mouth and said, “See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for.” Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

  • When we see clearly, we see our clearly.

(Genesis 50:20, NLT) You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.

(Romans 8:28, NLT) And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

  • My pain is either a jail that me or a that me.

1. Stop running and run .

(Isaiah 55:6, NIV) Seek the LORD while he may be found; call on him while he is near.

(Jeremiah 29:13, NIV) You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

2. Take the to .

(1 Peter 2:2-3, NLT) Like newborn babies, you must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment, now that you have had a taste of the Lord’s kindness.

3. Allow God to what I’ve been through to .

(2 Corinthians 1:3-4, NLT) All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.
