Joshua 6

-1 God Had Given Jericho into Israel’s hand. This was past tense, God already decided, and had the victory in hand.

-2 God had a plan. it seemed silly, and may have looked silly, but the greater purpose was to teach the people to TRUST AND OBEY – even if it didn’t make sense.

-3 The Trumpets blowing were to be a WARNING. Perhaps God will still forgive.

– 4 Jericho was devoted to the Lord, the Israelites were to keep NONE of it.

-5 Rahab, like Noah, found grace in the eyes of the Lord
