Sharing God’s Blessings:   Praising our Savior

                                                Philippians 3:4-11

Paul wrote with great in his heart for the Philippians

I thank my God every time I remember you. 4  In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5  because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, Philippians 1:3-5 (NIV)

Paul had great joy in his heart for

My brothers and sisters, be full of joy in the Lord. Philippians 3:1 (NCV)

Paul’s relationship with Jesus became in his life.

 What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ Philippians 3:8 (NIV)

Paul’s relationship with Jesus gave him from God by faith. 

 ….not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ–the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. Philippians 3:9 (NIV)

His compelled Paul to share his heart:   

 I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, 11  and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead. Philippians 3:10-11 (NIV)

I want to Christ

I want to like Christ

I want to like Christ

I want to like Christ

I want to like Christ  

       Let’s continue our Savior and following in His steps.
