They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good.” Titus 1:16 (NIV) He probably his calling and leadership “…he went outside and wept bitterly. Matthew 26:75b (NIV) After our failures we too experience “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” Mark 9:24 (NIV) Jesus knew the importance of Peter “It is true! The Lord has risen and has appeared to Simon.” Luke 24:34 (NIV) Christ knows and seeks to us too. Jesus called Peter to his love 3 times for a purpose “Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these?” John 21:15 a (NIV) Sometimes painful failures require healing processes Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” John 21:17 a (NIV) Jesus reminded Peter of his central role as of the flock. v 15 “Feed my lambs” v 16 “Take care of my sheep” v 17 “Feed my sheep” Feeding and caring for God’s lambs / sheep is for our lives today.
