                                           Pentecost People:  Spirit Filled

                                                       Acts 2:1-13

Today is Sunday

  1. God values:

 “When the day of Pentecost came…. “    Acts 2:1a (NIV) 

                 “….. they were all together in one place.”   Acts 2:1 (NIV) 

V 2  Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

 

V 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.

 

V 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”    Acts 2:2-4 (NIV) 

    2. Pentecost:

            the Team

 “All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit”    Acts 2:4a   (NIV)

to the world

    “how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language? Acts 2:8 (NIV) 

God 

   “..we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!” Acts 2:11b (NIV) 

                 You are for God’s purpose and glory
