                                    Pentecost People:  Dynamic Discipleship

                                                      Acts 2:22-24; 36-42

When the day of Pentecost came, the disciples were filled with the promised

Peter Preached about:

             1    the of Jesus Christ                 

“Therefore let all Israel be assured of this: God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”    Acts 2:36 (NIV)

 “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.   Acts 2:38a  (NIV)

              3      

“And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit”  Acts 2:38b  (NIV) 

People

    Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. Acts 2:41 (NIV) 

Dynamic followed

      “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.    Acts 2:42 (NIV)

The result of their dynamic discipleship: 

 Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles.  Acts 2:43 (NIV)
