God’s Workmanship

Ephesians 2:4-10

On this Labor Day weekend we honor and celebrate all

In middle of this pandemic we also regularly look to

In the middle of a pandemic it’s helpful to two age old questions:

                              are we?

                             are we here?

We are God’s

For we are his workmanship…     Eph 2:10a

We were created to do

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works…  Eph 2:10b

God is with us 

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.   Eph 2:10c

 We gain the power to do these good works by the of Jesus Christ.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions–it is by grace you have been saved.   Eph 2:4-5

       You are God’s , created in Christ Jesus to do good works!
