Malachi 3:10
Core Values our everyday discipleship and the ministry of our church
– using our time, talents and treasure as gifts from God to glorify him
Common :
- I don’t have any extra money
- I give at the office
- All the church wants is money
- My income sources are down now
What we believe:
- All things ultimately belong to
The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;
[2] for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters. Psalm 24:1-2 (NIV)
- We are of God’s good gifts
As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10 (NASB)
- God’s challenge is giving – the tithe being the goal
Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. Malachi 3:10 (NIV)
- God blesses us as we practice faithful
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38 (NIV)
Our Response:
- Give
The sacrifice that honors me is a thankful heart. Psalm 50:23a (CEV)
- Give
Let each one do just as he has purposed in his heart; not grudgingly or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver. 2 Cor. 9:7 (NASB)
- Give
Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)
As we give God will provide all we need
