It is natural and OK to have big “God”

Age old question:    I wonder why things happen to people?

Theodicy Question:  why a God permits the manifestation of ?

We experience the effects of suffering and evil in the world

People in the Scriptures regularly  God about suffering and evil

“Why, O LORD, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble? Psalm 10:1 (NIV)

How long, O LORD, must I call for help, but you do not listen? Or cry out to you, “Violence!” but you do not save? 3  Why do you make me look at injustice? Why do you tolerate wrong? Habakkuk 1:2-3

Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why do all the faithless live at ease? Jeremiah 12:1 (NIV)

God can our complaints and questions

The most obvious explanation of suffering & evil is

Our natural world too has been impacted by Adam & Eve’s

This side of heaven we will never know why bad things happen to good people

One day Christ will our questions
