                                   Core Values:  Ministry

                                          Romans 12:4-8

Core values our walk with Jesus and the ministry of our Church

God equips his people to do various works of

  1. I don’t have.
  2. I don’t have.
  3. I don’t have.
  4. Isn’t that why we have?

What we believe:

  1. God has given each of us and

We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. Romans 12:6a (NIV)

  1. God calls us to our talents

“‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’ Matthew 25:23 (NIV)

  1. Every part of the body of Christ is

The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!” 1 Cor. 12:21 (NIV)

  1. We can’t reach our full potential without in ministry

It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, [12] to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up [13] until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Ephes. 4:11-13 (NIV)

How we respond:

  1. your calling to ministry

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Ephes. 4:1 (NIV)

  1. your spiritual gifts

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. 1 Cor. 12:4 (NIV)

  1. Use your gifts

God has given each of us the ability to do certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out when you have faith that God is speaking through you. [7] If your gift is that of serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, do a good job of teaching. [8] If your gift is to encourage others, do it! If you have money, share it generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly. Rom 12:6-8 NLT

Your life in Christ is when you use your ministry gifts well.
