Romans 5:1 

Big Idea: Find by living out of the truth of your .   

1. peace with God by being justified. 

10 Principles of Justification:

1. Wrath: Sought when you recognize the truth of God’s wrath. 
2. Declaration: not a process; it is a declared act of God in the past.
3. Faith: received by faith alone, and not because of any good works. 
4. Union: realized through union with Christ.
5. Substitution: based on Christ taking our place on the cross.
6. Righteous: includes the righteousness of Christ being reckoned to another.
7. Justice: brings God’s mercy and justice together perfectly. 
8. Blessing:  has a positive and negative blessing. 
9. Eternity: has eternal implications. 
10. Transformation: intimately connected to sanctification.
