Changing Lives With Words
Across the Street and Around the World
Message by Roger Edrington – November 15, 2020

Matthew 28:18-20; Romans 10:13-15, John 1:1-4,14

  1. Words change people’s Matthew 28:18-20

Jesus is    John 1:1-4, 14

  1. How WIll They Hear?
    a. Someone must walk across the street
    OR
    b. Someone must fly around the world

         “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”   —Romans 10:13-15 

We must either . . .

  1. a. Jesus sends his disciples to GO in a variety of ways.  (Matthew 10:5-10)

               — Mission is always the same –  Preach the of Christ

  Do the of Jesus

              — Method of Provision 1 –  God will provide the   (Luke 22:35)

              — Method of Provision 2 – go Luke 22:36

           b. believer must listen to the voice of God

                  1)     To go or to go!  That is the question!

                  2)     Doing the of God is more important than comfort.

To be in God’s mission, you must . . .
