Title: Grow In Freedom – Show Your Purpose
(Proverbs 29:18 MSG) If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all overthemselves; but when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.
(Proverbs 29:18 KJV) Where there is no vision, the people perish…
(Psalm 16:11 NLT) You will show me the way of life, granting me the joy of your presenceand the pleasures of living with you forever.
- Grow in .
(Galatians 5:1 NIV) It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
(John 8:31-32 NIV) Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.32Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free
How can I Grow in Freedom ?
- Renew Your Mind
(Romans 12:2 NIV) Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
(Romans 8:1-8 NLT) So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. 2 And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed youfrom the power of sin that leads to death. 3 The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins. 4 He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit.
5 Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. 6 So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. 7 For the sinful nature is always hostile to God. It never did obey God’s laws, and it never will. 8 That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.

Memorize & Mediate on God’s Word
(Ephesians 5:25-27 NIV) Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.
Winning the War in Your Mind: Change Your Thinking, Change Your Life
How do I Grow in Freedom Publicly?
(James 5:16 NIV) Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.
The Realization: Life change happens through a with the right .
How: Create small groups where people can experience and grow in .
(Acts 20:20 NIV) You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house.
- Show Your .
God’s in me reveals God’s for me!
(Ephesians 2:10 NLT) For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
(Ephesians 4:11-16 NLT) Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12 Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ 13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. 14Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever they sound like the truth. 15 Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ, who is the head of his body, the church. 16 He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special workit helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.
(1 Peter 4:10-11 NLT) God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts Use them well to serve one another. 11 Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.
(1 Peter 4:10-11 NIV) “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.”
