Title: Know God

(Proverbs 29:18 MSG) If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all overthemselves; but when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed.

(Proverbs 29:18 KJV) Where there is no vision, the people perish…

Being a disciple of Jesus is walking other people through process while you’re walking through this process.

1. Know .

(Romans 3:23 NLT) “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.”

(Romans 3:10 NIV) No one is righteous—not even one.

(Romans 6:23 NIV) For the wages of sin is death…

  1. = Separation from the Living

  2. = Separation from God.

  3. = Separation from the living and from God forever.

(James 1:17 NIV) Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

Sometimes we can diminish sins consequences and in doing so we diminish God’s GRACE towards us.

(Romans 6:23 NIV) For the wages of sin is deathbut the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

(Romans 5:8 NIV) But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

(Romans 10:9-10 NLT) If you openly declare that Jesus is and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.

  1. Relationally.

(Matthew 7:22-23 NIV) Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

(Matthew 25:1-12 NIV)
