EASTER @ CENTRAL // A NEW DAY

April 4, 2021   /   Central Christian Church

Series: EASTER at Central 2021
Date: 4/4/2021
Speaker: Pastor Tim
Title: Why 3 Days?

(Romans 8:11 NLT) The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you.

The Resurrection (EASTER) to close the gap between the life you are living and the could live.

(1 Peter 2:21 Message) This is the kind of life you’ve been invited into the kind of life Christ lived. He suffered everything that came his way so you would know that it could be done, and also know how to do it, step-by-step.

Day 1 – Friday: The Day of .

Types of Pain:

  1. Physical Pain
  2. Emotion Pain
  3. Relational Pain

(Romans 8:28 NLT) And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

There is no pain that His purpose cannot redeem.

Day 2 – Saturday: The Day of .

When we’re confused…

  1. We want answers.
  2. We begin to doubt.
  3. We give up.
  4. We feel alone.

(Psalm 73:16-17 NIV) When I tried to understand all this, it troubled me deeply till I entered the sanctuary of God; then I understood…

There is no confusion that His presence cannot calm.

Day 3 – Sunday: The Day of .

(John 11:25-26 NIV)I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; 26 and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do youbelieve this?

There is no death that His power can’t resurrect.

(Philippians 3:10-11 NLT) I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, 11 so that one way or another I will experience the resurrection from the dead!
