BUCKET LIST WEEK 1

October 18, 2020   /   Central Christian Church

Series: Bucket List
Date: October 18, 2020
Title: Live Without Regrets
Pastor: Tim Perkins

A bucket list is simply a list of things you hope to do before you kick the bucket.

Number your days so you don’t waste your days.

Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. – Psalm 90:12 NIV
So teach us to number our days, That we may present to You a heart of wisdom. – Psalm 90:12 NASB

You’re not dead yet, so you’re not done yet.

Regrets of our past can be our motivators to live with purpose in the present!

As for me, my life has already been poured out as an offering to God. The time of my death is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me…. – 2 Timothy 4:6–8 NLT)

Big Idea This Week: Eliminate tomorrow’s regret with today’s faithfulness.

Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending. – Maria Robinson

 1. Live in Your True

(Matthew 3:16-17 NLT) After his baptism, as Jesus came up out of the water, the heavens were opened and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and settling on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.”

2. Prioritize and

(Ecclesiastes 5:10 NLT) Those who love money will never have enough. How meaningless to think that wealth brings true happiness!

“The worst excuse is a good excuse.” — John Maxwell

3. Express Your

(John 15:12 NLT) This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.

4. Keep in Touch with .

(Proverbs 13:20 NLT) Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.

Show me your friends and I’ll show you your future!”
“You’re the average of the five people you spend the most time with” – Jim Rohn

5. Habits of Happiness.

(Philippians 4:6-7 NLT) Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
