Gifts of the Spirit / Dones del Espíritu

• We hear about the gifts of the Spirit more than any other set of giftings, but those are not the only gifts listed in the Word. From where do they come, and what are their purposes? Who can have these gifts? 
  • Gifts from Father, Son, and Spirit. 
  • Why are we looking at gifts this way? Father — Son — Spirit?
    • The gifts from the Father are meant to motivate us in life to serve God with the purpose HE put in us 

1 Cor. 12:1-6

• 1 Corinthians 12:8–10, 28: Gifts of the Holy Spirit
  • Word of Wisdom 1 Cor. 12: 7-8
    • It is Supernatural perspective to find out WITH CERTAINTY the heavenly way to accomplish God’s will in given situations.
    • Spiritually directed problem-solving
    • Taking the right action in a situation.
    • It is Knowledge that is applied correctly: wisdom works interactively with knowledge and discernment.
  • Word of Knowledge 1 Cor. 12:8
    • It is a Supernatural revelation of the will and plan of God. 
      • revelation: “revealing” or “uncovering” 
    • Information that is received without any human assistance or any human resource but solely by the Holy Spirit. 
      • You could not have known it any other way..
  • Faith:  1 Cor 12:9
    • It’s when your faith is combined with supernatural power from God.
    • it’s doing what you can do and PARTNERING with God for what HE WANTS TO DO and what you see around you has NO effect on what you are believing for. 
    • Its a targeted faith.
  • Gifts of Healing 1 Cor. 12:9
    • May include divinely assisted application of human instrumentation and medical means of treatment. However, it does not discount the use of God’s creative gifts.
    • God has given us natural healing, but if He chooses, he can supernaturally speed up the process or bypass it.
    • When you go see someone in the hospital or someone who is sick, you should ALWAYS pray for them. These gifts are for the benefit of people in the arena of life, not just in a church setting.
  • Working of Miracles: 1 Cor. 12:10
    • Supernatural power to intervene and counteract earthly and evil forces.
  • Literally means, “a display of power giving the ability to go beyond the natural.”
    • Operates closely with the gifts of faith and healings to bring authority over sin, Satan, sickness, and the binding forces of this age.
  • Prophecy: 1 Cor. 12:10
    • Divinely inspired and anointed utterance.
    • Supernatural proclamation in a known language.
    • Manifestation of the Spirit of God—not of intellect (1 Cor 12:7).
    • May be possessed and operated by all who have the infilling of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 14:31).
    • Intellect, faith, and will are operative in this gift, but its exercise is not intellectually based. It is calling forth words from the Spirit of God.
  • Discerning of Spirits 1 Cor. 12:10
    • Supernatural power to detect the realm of the spirits and their activities.
    • Implies the power of spiritual insight—supernatural revelation of plans and purposes of the Enemy and his forces.
    • it’s always a prayer strategy
  • Different Kinds of Tongues 1 Cor. 12:10
    • Supernatural utterance in languages not known to the speaker: these languages may be existent in the world, revived from some past culture, or “unknown” in the sense that they are a means of communication inspired by the Holy Spirit (Isa 28:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 2:4; 10:44–48; 19:1–7; 1 Cor 12:10, 28–31; 13:1–3; 14:2, 4–22, 26–32).
    • Serve as an evidence and sign of the indwelling and working of the Holy Spirit.
  • Interpretation of Tongues 1 Cor. 12:10
    • Supernatural power to reveal the meaning of tongues.
    • Functions not as an operation of the mind of man but as the mind of the Spirit.
    • Does not serve as a translation –interpreter never understands the tongue he is interpreting– but rather is a declaration of the meaning of what was spoken
    • Is exercised as a miraculous and supernatural phenomenon as are the gift of speaking in tongues and the gift of prophecy.
• These gifts have purpose
  • 1 Cor. 12:7
  • 1 Cor 12:11 
  • Their purpose is specific—to “help” the body of the church. 1 for 12:7
    • “Help,” Greek sumphero, means “to bring together, to benefit, to be advantageous,” 
    • This is experienced as the body is strengthened in its life together and expanded through its ministry of evangelism.
• We don’t do life alone.
  • These nine gifts are specifically available to every believer as the Holy Spirit distributes them 
• Moving Forward
  • Continue to read your Bible and study and ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand
  • Do not acknowledge them and then dismiss them. We are meant to actively welcome and expect these gifts. (1 Cor 13:1; 14:1).

     Oímos hablar de los dones del Espíritu más que de cualquier otro conjunto de dones, pero esos no son los únicos dones enumerados en la Palabra. ¿De dónde vienen y cuáles son sus propósitos? ¿Quién puede tener estos dones?
          Dones del Padre, del Hijo y del Espíritu.
         ¿Por qué estamos viendo los regalos de esta manera? Padre-Hijo-Espíritu?
                Los dones del Padre están destinados a motivarnos en la vida para servir a Dios con el propósito que             Él puso en nosotros.

 1 Corintios 12: 8–10, 28: Dones del Espíritu Santo
          Palabra de Sabiduría 1 Cor. 12: 7-8
               Es perspectiva Sobrenatural descubrir CON CERTEZA la manera celestial de cumplir la voluntad de Dios en situaciones dadas.
               Resolución de problemas dirigida espiritualmente
               Tomar la acción correcta en una situación.
               Es el Conocimiento que se aplica correctamente: la sabiduría trabaja interactivamente con el conocimiento y el discernimiento.
          Palabra de Ciencia 1 Cor. 12: 8
               Es una revelación sobrenatural de la voluntad y el plan de Dios.
                    Revelación: “revelar” o “descubrir”
               Información que se recibe sin ninguna ayuda humana o recurso humano, sino únicamente por el Espíritu Santo.
                No podría haberlo sabido de otra manera ..

          Fe: 1 Corintios 12: 9
               Es cuando su fe se combina con el poder sobrenatural de Dios.
               Es hacer lo que puede hacer y ASOCIARTE con Dios para lo que ÉL QUIERE HACER y lo que ve a su alrededor NO tiene efecto en lo que cree.
               Es una fe específica.

          Dones de Sanidad 1 Cor. 12: 9
               Puede incluir la aplicación divinamente asistida de instrumentación humana y medios médicos de tratamiento. Sin embargo, no descarta el uso de los dones creativos de Dios.
               Dios nos ha dado sanidad natural, pero si lo desea, puede acelerar el proceso de manera sobrenatural o evitarlo.
               Cuando vaya a ver a alguien en el hospital o alguien que está enfermo, SIEMPRE debe orar por ellos. Estos dones son para el beneficio de las personas en el ámbito de la vida, no solo en el entorno de una iglesia.

          Obra de milagros: 1 Cor. 12:10
               Poder sobrenatural para intervenir y contrarrestar las fuerzas terrenales y malignas.
          Literalmente significa “una demostración de poder que da la capacidad de ir más allá de lo natural”.
               Opera de cerca con los dones de fe y sanidades para traer autoridad sobre el pecado, Satanás, la enfermedad y las fuerzas vinculantes de esta era.

          Profecía: 1 Cor. 12:10
               Expresión divinamente inspirada y ungida.
               Proclamación sobrenatural en un idioma conocido.
               Manifestación del Espíritu de Dios, no del intelecto (1 Corintios 12: 7).
               Puede ser poseído y operado por todos los que tienen la llenura del Espíritu Santo (1 Corintios 14:31).
               El intelecto, la fe y la voluntad operan en este don, pero su ejercicio no tiene una base intelectual. Es invocar palabras del Espíritu de Dios.

          Discernimiento de espíritus 1 Cor. 12:10
               Poder sobrenatural para detectar el reino de los espíritus y sus actividades.
               Implica el poder de la percepción espiritual: revelación sobrenatural de los planes y propósitos del Enemigo y sus fuerzas.
               Siempre es una estrategia de oración

          Diferentes Clases de Lenguas 1 Cor. 12:10
                Expresión sobrenatural en lenguas desconocidas para el hablante: estas lenguas pueden ser existentes en el mundo, revividas de alguna cultura pasada, o “desconocidas” en el sentido de que son un medio de comunicación inspirado por el Espíritu Santo (Isa 28:11; Marcos 16:17; Hechos 2:4; 10:44–48; 19:1–7; 1 Corintios 12:10, 28–31; 13:1–3; 14:2, 4–22, 26–32) .
               Servir como evidencia y señal de la morada y obra del Espíritu Santo.

          Interpretación de Lenguas 1 Cor. 12:10
               Poder sobrenatural para revelar el significado de las lenguas.
               Funciona no como una operación de la mente del hombre sino como la mente del Espíritu.
               No sirve como traducción –el intérprete nunca entiende la lengua que interpreta– sino que es una declaración del sentido de lo hablado
               Se ejerce como un fenómeno milagroso y sobrenatural como lo son el don de hablar en lenguas y el don de profecía.

     Estos regalos tienen un propósito.
           1 Cor. 12: 7
           1 Corintios 12:11

          Su propósito es específico: “ayudar” al cuerpo de la iglesia. 1 para 12: 7
               “Ayuda”, en griego sumphero, significa “reunir, beneficiar, ser ventajoso”.
               Esto se experimenta a medida que el cuerpo se fortalece en su vida en común y se expande a través de su ministerio de evangelización.

     No hacemos la vida solos.
          Estos nueve dones están específicamente disponibles para cada creyente a medida que el Espíritu Santo los distribuye.

          Continúe leyendo su Biblia y estudie y pídale al Espíritu Santo que le ayude a entender
          No los reconozca y luego los despida. Estamos destinados a recibir activamente y esperar estos regalos. (1 Corintios 13: 1; 14: 1).
