Inside every Christian are two different natures; two ways of thinking and acting. One is the old sinful nature and the other is the new spiritual nature. Like the two wolves or two dogs, we have two natures that are always fighting (v.17). One of these natures continually dominates your life as a believer. When the sinful nature is winning the fight, we do all the horrible stuff listed in verses 19-21. I.
