And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, “From any tree of the garden you may eat freely; but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you shall surely die.”

Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. – 1 Timothy 2:14 (NKJV)

(v.16)

To the woman he said, Great will be your pain in childbirth; in sorrow will your children come to birth; still your desire will be for your husband, but he will be your master. – Genesis 3:16 (BBE)

Adam the Gospel message (v.15) and begins to call “the Woman” (mother of all living)

Eve: Chavvah – life-giver (Strong’s)

As a picture of spoken faith Adam will no longer call her by her (woman) but only by her (mother of all living)

As a picture of salvation Adam and Eve could only what God and

allow God to cover their (v.21)

The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. – Genesis 3:21 (NIV)

…my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation – Isaiah 61:10 (NIV)

For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul. – Leviticus 17:11 (NKJV)

Without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness of sins. – Hebrews 9:22 (ESV)
